ABOUT US

Our local food bank first opened in 1985. Back then we handed out approximately 100 hampers per month.

In 2017 we now hand out approximately 350 hampers per month, which is 800-950 people per month.

Clients are able to receive 7 hampers in a 12 month period.

Nearly 50% of the people we help are children.

The Food Bank tries to give a week's supply of food in each hamper. This varies day-to-day depending on donations.

The Moose Jaw & District Food Bank is not government subsidized and we rely soley on grocery stores, local businesses, churches, schools, service groups and the general public for both monetary and food donations.
